for Sage ERP Accpac
Trade Job Costing 6.0B is an SDK application for Sage ERP Accpac 6.0A, which produces profitability reports that can be printed per job or per organizational unit. This application captures information on user-defined jobs, updating related financial and operational transactions in Sage ERP Accpac. Organizational unit profitability reports include both direct and indirect revenues and expenses. Jobs can be defined for commercial projects or deals, which are potential orders that may or may not be confirmed and which consist of numerous business transactions conducted by an intermediary, between a number of vendors and customers. In most common deals, merchandises are not physically processed through inventory, but are purchased from vendors and shipped to customers directly. Generally, a Trade Job would consist of multiple Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Shipments, Invoices and Payments, all of which are generated and negotiated under a single Trade Job Number. In addition to tracking historical and analytical data on jobs, Trade Job Costing 6.0B is most useful for fulfillment, commitment and margin analysis. Typical Trade Job examples are wholesale businesses and tenders for the supply of material or equipment to hotels, hospitals, universities or the military.
Here are a few suggestions which will help you with the positioning of Trade Job Costing (TJC) correctly and meeting your customer's requirements. TJC must be exclusively used in situations where the customer stores, manages and processes accounting documents in physical sets related directly to jobs or projects. TJC is not suitable in situations where accounting documents related to different jobs or projects are physically mixed. Please also note that TJC does not support processing of a single accounting document under multiple jobs or projects. Failure to guarantee these operational measures will lead to increasing processing time considerably, resulting in your customer's dissatisfaction of TJC.

Trade Job Costing™
Services
Service organizations use sophisticated ERP application systems to manage the countless business transactions they incur everyday. A typical job can consist of multiple sales and purchase orders, invoices and payments, all of which are generated and negotiated between a number of vendors, suppliers and customers under a single trade job number. The vast complexity of this operational structure makes it difficult for companies to determine which jobs make business sense and which don’t.
Trade Job Costing is an integrated solution developed by SYSTRONICS llc for the award-winning Sage ERP Accpac software, to produce accurate and timely profitability reports for the jobs that service companies undertake:
- Tour operators will be able to determine their profit margins on specific holiday package tours which include flights, hotels, meals and excursions
- Freight forwarding companies will be able to determine the profitability of bulk shipments that involve distributing goods to a number of customers
- Advertising agencies will be able to forecast the profitability of specific client campaigns that use a number of advertising mediums, such as radio, television and print.
The application can be used as a forward-planning tool for any service organization that wants to identify the profitability of a particular job at any given time. In addition to tracking analytical data on both existing and potential jobs, Trade Job Costing is particularly useful for fulfillment, commitment and margin analysis.

Wholesale
Wholesalers usually trade goods without keeping inventory. They assemble, sort and grade goods in large lots, break bulk, repack and finally redistribute in smaller lots. Share and commodity brokers deal in a similar way in that they buy shares and then sell them on again for a profit. Traders in lumber, fuel, chemicals and many others in the wholesale industry all operate in a dynamic fast-paced environment, and the ability to determine the profitability of each specific job is critical to their success.
Trade Job Costing is an integrated solution developed by SYSTRONICS llc for the award-winning Sage ERP Accpac software that produces accurate and timely profitability reports for wholesale trading companies. It acts as a forward-planning tool for companies and individuals who want to identify the profitability of a particular job or an organizational unit at any particular time.
In addition to tracking analytical data on existing jobs, Trade Job Costing is particularly useful for fulfillment, commitment and margin analysis.
